This is a picture of my little niece Bella on her 1st Birthday. She is enjoying birthday cake for the very first time! I picked this picture for the Bright & Vivid theme because I love the colors in this photo and you can tell by the cake all over her face and her sparkly, bright blue eyes just how much she is enjoying that cake!

I Heart Faces: Soft & Sweet

This is my first time entering a photo contest! I've been bulding up my courage and watching all the topics come and go. I decided this was the week to finally just do it! Here is my submission:

I took this picture of the daughter of one of my closest friends. She loves to dress up and has quite an imagination! She is the definition of what is soft & sweet to me!

cute kids

I'm pretty behind on my blog posts (like everything else). I don't know where the time goes! I start out everyday thinking I have plenty of time to get everything done but then the day is over and I didn't get anything done! That's what happens when you have a very busy little boy and two ornery dogs, I guess. Oh and did I mention that I like to procrastinate? 

These two beautiful girls were so comfortable in front of the camera! They had everything planned out from posing to wordrobe changes. They did all the work for me! 



 I absolutely LOVE this photo. She had just finished telling her little brother a secret.

urban couple

This was my favorite photoshoot to date (although I think I say that after every photoshoot)! This couple was so much fun and so cute together. You can just see the love between them. I was also really excited about the location! Just a local shopping area but very urban and it turned out to be the perfect setting for what I had in mind. I am definitely looking forward to more photoshoots like this one!
